About
Handmade Lampworked Glass Jewelry & Art — Annie Did It

"I love working with glass! It's like being a kid playing with the hot wax of a candle — but even better. 🔥 My work expresses the pure joy I have creating whimsical, bright, colorful, one-of-a-kind handmade glass jewelry and wearable art for all ages. I like to think of my work as eye candy. 🍬 — Annie Vedovell"
About the Artist
Annie Vedovell is a lampwork glass artist and jewelry maker based in Holland, Michigan, with over 25 years of experience creating handmade glass beads, earrings, pendants, plant sticks, and wearable glass art.
Annie grew up in western Michigan surrounded by art and creativity. Her grandmother was a dress designer and her mother an interior designer. Annie earned her BFA in Graphic Design from Michigan State University in 1990.
She found her passion at Ox-Bow — a summer art school affiliated with the Art Institute of Chicago — where she discovered lampwork glass bead making. She fell in love with working at a high-powered torch, sculpting brightly colored transparent and opaque glass into something truly special.
Ever since, Annie has been creating handmade lampworked glass jewelry and wearable art from her studio in Holland, Michigan. Color and texture are the keystones of everything she makes.
Annie exhibits in galleries and shops across the country, is a published artist and teacher, and is a proud member of the International Society of Glass Bead Makers (ISGB).
